Uniting Kids & Service DogsOur Mission: To assist in uniting service dogs with children in need. We understand that a well-trained service dog can truly change a child’s life as well as the lives of their loved ones. We look for innovative ways to help support this great cause.

Who we are
K9s for Kids was originally formed to help unite children with Type 1 Diabetes with service dogs called Diabetes Alert Dogs or D.A.D. dogs. Now, we have broadened our scope to work with children and K9s addressing a number of needs such as visual and hearing impairment.

What We Do
Through our partners and relationships, we work with kennels across the United States to help support children in need of service dogs. While we do not select individuals or negotiate and procure K9s from the kennels or training facilities on behalf of individuals, we work exclusively with kennels and other non-profit organizations to provide aid on behalf of the individuals based on the recommendation of these organizations.
